An image of ex professional basketball player penny hardaway.

If you’re into sneakers and have watched 90s NBA basketball you’re most likely familiar with Penny Hardaway. One of the best point guards to play the game. Penny Hardaway was so nice that he got blessed with his own signature line with Nike in 1995. His shoe designs were so good that they have re-released multiple models throughout the years and continue to do so until this very day.

Aside from his signature line (penny 1-4) and the beloved penny endorsed Foamposite one, Nike has released an additional 5th signature shoe four years after he retired! They even blended a few signature models together to make very unique hybrid models, the Nike air half cent, the zoom rookie and the lil’Penny Posite.

We wanted to explore what the Penny sneaker line might have looked like if our beloved folks at Beaverton kept the line going!

Would they still be using air max tech in heel of the midsole and zoom in the forefoot? Or would the current players of todays modern game opt for a minimalistic low top with Zoom? We will never have an idea so we used A.I. Text to image software Midjouney to explore a few possibilities.
